Scenarios

What happens when things go wrong.

These are the situations I recreate in the lab so I already know the answer when a client hits them in production.

  • A workstation restriction points to a machine that no longer exists.
  • A DNS record points to an IP that was reassigned.
  • A Kerberos ticket is rejected due to clock skew.
  • A firewall rule blocks legitimate traffic.
  • A server runs out of disk space.
